In the Portland, Or. metro area on 8/27/10, I saw these old guys (they're older than me, by 10 years!) at an outside concert with reserved seats. I was about 5 rows back, front AND CENTER. Wasn't sure if original bandmembers would be there, but took a $90.00 chance, and WAS MORE than rewarded! They WERE THERE except Micheal Mcdonald, who actually joined after they were WELL established... (slight bummer).
Two drummers, a bassist (obviously), and three (INCLUDING lead singer) guitarists packed a punch! Energy, electrified the air! I grew up to songs like "Long Train Runnin", "China Grove", and "Coal Black Water" (a TRUELY bump elbows, bootie, with your neighbor song!) It was everything I'd hoped for and more when I got tickets, three months in advance, hence the great seats!
Word to the wise, if these old dudes bring it to your neck of the woods, you would be FOOLISH not to go! Clean rock fun for ALL ages and generations. If you aren't a fan (because you don't know their music), GO ANYWAY, you'll become one! So, they have a NEW ALBUM coming out! Who woulda' thought? It was like being 12 to 15 all over again! WEEEE!

"The seating was great. Disney On Ice's opening acts were fantastic and Disney On Ice was not worth the money paid for the tickets. I and my best friend were sitting on two rows with hard, pleather chairs, while all others had nicer cushioned chairs, yet we paid the same or higher prices for our seats. Something is wrong with that picture. Maybe he has been away from the action too long. The show was a bit disappointed in that I thought he would be a whole lot funnier in person. Come back to H-town Chris, but be on fire when you do."
Magnificent. Choice of songs and arias were wonderful.
The Garden's sound was fantastic, enhanced by the full orchestra and Chorus for a deep Disney On Ice performance. Section 10, Row 5 seats were decent, but the head angle to the left for two and a half hours was a bit straining. I might opt for a different section next time at the Garden. Nevertheless, the neighboring seat companions were delightful, contributing to great conversations pre and post-show. I recommend Disney On Ice allocate more time for Matteo. A one-page program should be included in the ticket price for future performances. A truly unforgettable night experience.
seriously needs improvements
French Lick Resort experienced a shortage of beer. The line for alcohol stretched for over an hour. Security was plentiful, but it was difficult to find extra staff. We requested additional assistance to shorten the alcohol line and avoid missing the concert, but the response was unfriendly, and no extra help was provided. Our seats were inadequate, as visibility was limited unless watching the large TV screen. Disney On Ice delivered a solid performance. It would have been preferable if he had moved around to allow the rest of the audience to see him. Nevertheless, he sounded fantastic. I was particularly impressed by all the members of his band.
